Children’s Hospices across Scotland (CHAS)
As a larger organisation they are looking to recruit volunteers for a number of opportunities that they have at the moment.
Volunteer Speaker
CHAS speakers identify opportunities to engage new audiences in the work of CHAS by arranging and delivering talks. Talks could be to school groups, employers in a local business, a rotary club or any other group of people.
Fundraising Group Member
Fundraising groups are the local face of CHAS in the community. The group plan and deliver events and activities in the local community to raise vital funds for CHAS. You can either join your local group or if there is no group in your local area, we will support you to set up your own.
Fundraising Group Leader
Fundraising groups are the local face of CHAS in the community. The group plan and deliver events and activities in the local community to raise vital funds for CHAS. The Group Lead role heads the group and is responsible for group membership and planning and delivering activities.
Collecting Can Representative
CHAS collecting can representatives are responsible for placing and collecting fundraising cans from a range of sites including pubs, shops and cafes. People donate to CHAS every day through our network of collecting cans across Scotland, which helps us develop vital services for children and families.
